Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. This is an extremely elastic material that is sinterable to form a rubber-like porous material, but with excellent toughness. The porous elastomeric material is three times more flexible than low density polyethylene (LDPE), with a tensile elongation of 750% at a melting temperature of 250 ° F (96 ° C).
